The CAD/CAM Engineer will support the manufacturing of custom cabinetry for Retail, Builder, and Commercial customers. This position is responsible for developing precise, production-ready drawings and CNC programs that support efficient manufacturing of large-volume custom cabinet projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of custom cabinetry manufacturing processes and be comfortable working with modern CAD/CAM technology used within the woodworking industry.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to provide accurate and timely deliverables in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Create detailed shop drawings and production documents for approval and manufacturing.
- Verify that designs meet quality, manufacturability, and production requirements.
- Help improve and streamline design-to-production processes and workflows.
- Consistently meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Understanding of CNC programming principles and G-code used with woodworking machinery.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a production-focused environment.
- 1–3 years of experience in custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, woodworking, or related manufacturing.

- Practical experience using at least one major cabinetry or woodworking CAD/CAM system, such as Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, 2020, Mozaik, SWOOD, SWOODDesign, SWOODCAM, BSolid, WoodWOP, or a comparable platform.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with systems such as Cabinet Vision, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, SWOOD, WoodWOP, Microvellum, Mozaik, 2020 Design, Cut Rite, HOMAG Machines, or similar software and equipment in a millwork and or cabinetry mfg environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working in custom manufacturing environments involving high product variety and complex production requirements.
- Understanding of common custom cabinetry materials, hardware, construction techniques, and joinery methods.
- 3–5 years of experience designing and programming custom cabinetry or complex woodworking projects.
- Knowledge of panel processing, nesting techniques, and CNC routing and drilling operations.
