Finishing Supervisor

Starting base salary: $85-$130K
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee timekeeping and attendance.
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
- Work overtime as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure production schedules are followed and deadlines are met.
- Audit production processes and address non-conforming procedures.
- Ensure employees follow established work standards and procedures.
- Establish maintenance and inspection schedules for all critical equipment.
- Oversee operations involving flatline technology and hang line wood finishing.
- Identify quality issues using production data and implement timely resolutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding and proper application of FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Apply Lean tools and problem-solving techniques to improve production processes.
- Support downstream internal customers by resolving delivery and production issues.
- Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with all plant safety policies & procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not needed with professional finishing industry experience.
- Ability to anticipate potential issues, plan, and develop contingency plans.
- Previous experience managing flatline finishing technology preferred.
- Adaptable to change with a strong desire to drive improvements.
- Experience in wood product and component finishing preferred.
